Carved from a single solid log, this tall floor sculpture carries the same quiet authority as the best works in studio craft. The form rises through a series of rounded, organic masses that contract and expand as they climb, with a pierced void near the top that opens the piece to light and air without diminishing its sense of weight. It reads as figurative without depicting anything specific, which gives it a lasting, unresolved quality that rewards continued attention.

The wood is richly spalted, with dark veining running through warm, honeyed grain throughout the entire piece. Small natural voids and knots are left untouched, each one a detail that no two versions of this object could ever share.

Designed and made in Europe by Logniture, a studio dedicated to turning raw timber into heirloom-grade furniture and objects.
