Carved from a single solid log, this bench captures something that is rarely achievable in designed objects: the feeling that it was always going to look this way. One end is clean and resolved, the other is left raw, preserving the fractured, jagged character of the original timber exactly as the wood offered it. The two ends belong to the same piece and tell very different stories.

The grain runs the full length of the surface, the live edge is intact, and the deep ebonized finish unifies everything without erasing anything. Under the matte black, the wood's full history remains readable.

Designed and made in Europe by Logniture, a studio dedicated to turning raw timber into heirloom-grade furniture and objects.
