Carved from a single solid log, this side table has a refined sculptural presence that sets it apart from the more raw and rugged pieces in the Logniture collection. The form is smooth and continuous, with the waist pulled in tight and the grain wrapping around the whole piece in long, sweeping arcs. Where the wood opens up around a knot at the center, dark figuring spreads outward through the lighter timber like ink in water.

The natural finish is warm and luminous, and the surface polished to a quiet sheen that invites touch. Fine checking runs vertically through the piece, honest and unrepaired, a reminder that this object is made from something that was once alive.
