Carved from a single solid log, this side table has a pale, bleached quality that gives it a completely different feeling from the darker pieces in the Logniture collection. The wood is light and almost chalky in tone, with the grain open and visible across every surface, and deep natural checking that runs through the piece with complete honesty. The negative space carved through the lower section lifts the mass and gives the piece an unexpected lightness for something so solidly built.

The finish is minimal, letting the raw, dry character of the timber speak for itself. It is the kind of object that feels at home in a room with a lot of natural light, linen, stone, and unfinished surfaces.
