This striking side table or stool is a one-of-a-kind functional sculpture, carved from a single piece of solid hardwood to ensure absolute material integrity and a permanent character. Its design features a heavy, grounded form that emphasizes the raw volume and natural weight of the timber, transforming a dense block into a refined architectural statement.

The entire piece is treated with a deep ebonized finish, giving the wood a rich, matte black tone that unifies its complex, hand-worked geometry. This finish beautifully accentuates the handcrafted character, highlighting a carved surface with distinct tool marks while allowing natural fissures, growth rings, and the inherent grain of the timber to remain visible.
